On the weekend of November 17-18, 2007 we artists of Joy Street Artists Studios will once again join our neighbors down the street at the Brickbottom Artists Association in throwing open our studio doors to the public for a fun- and art-filled weekend.
Open Studios is a great opportunity to sample a wide variety of art by over 100 artists in dozens of media. I hope you’ll drop in for a visit.
I plan to have a few new things to show you — sonic and otherwise. Some highlights:
- “Deep Earth Dome“, an 8-channel immersive sound installation of the natural sounds of planet Earth (two new 20-minute programs, playing on a continuous loop).
- Autographed copies of my “Earth Sound” CD for sale ($15)
- And, as always: a chance for us to chat, schmooze, hobnob, debate, inspire, conspire, and respire together over snacks & refreshements.
